Mhairidh leads Wood Mackenzie’s global research on carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) and co-leads Wood Mackenzie’s Carbon Management research practice. She is responsible for a team that provides insight and strategic analysis to project developers, technology providers, investors and governments. Based in the UK, she frequently travels to spend time with industry players, to develop the team and to hone the research agenda. Mhairidh joined Wood Mackenzie in 2014. Prior to focusing on energy transition topics, she spent seven years as a lead analyst in Wood Mackenzie’s upstream oil and gas division, concentrating on the North Sea and offshore supply chain. Pete Carragher has been involved in oil and gas exploration since 1974 (after receiving his B.S. degree in Geology from King’s College London). He has evaluated and drilled prospects in most of the world’s oil and gas provinces. Since 1990, he has been involved in developing and applying exploration risk assessment techniques and portfolio management processes. From 1989 to 1994, Carragher served as Manager of Amoco’s Basin Analysis Group for Worldwide New Ventures and was then led Amoco’s Prospect Quality Team from 1994 until 1997, an effort directly responsible for creating value for Amoco’s Worldwide Exploration effort. He then served for two years as Manager, Upstream Portfolio Analysis for Amoco immediately prior to the merger with BP. In 2003, BP named him as Head of Discipline for Worldwide Exploration, and later named him VP of Geoscience and Exploration, helping assess new resources and identifying new areas of exploration potential. Pete has been at Rose since 2010, served as Managing Partner from 2014 to March 2026, and following the transaction with CMG serves as the General Manager of Rose Subsurface Assessment. He has extensive experience in designing exploration and appraisal strategy, process, and organization capability that has proven to lead to improved business performance. With colleagues at Rose, he has extended that skill set to unconventional resources and carbon sequestration. Mr. Findlay has led corporate finance and strategy consulting projects in oil and gas, power & renewables, decarbonization, petrochemicals, and other sectors since 2008 with Kearney and other management consulting firms, working on transactions and projects ranging in value from $50 MM to $40 billion for the world’s largest energy companies as well as much smaller operators. Dominic’s career with ExxonMobil spans more than two decades, during which he has applied his deep expertise in both technical operations and global strategic advisory. He started his career with ExxonMobil in 1999 working as a reservoir engineer in Houston. He worked in oil and gas fields in West Texas, Oklahoma, and South Texas. His roles have since taken him across the globe, from Venezuela to Norway to Australia. Most recently, Dominic was based in Qatar with his family for seven years, where he held several leadership roles, including president and general manager of ExxonMobil Qatar, president of Al Khaleej Gas, and vice president & ventures manager, ExxonMobil Qatar.
