Report summary
The Abu Al Bukhoosh field is located 45 kilometres northeast of Das Island, 180 kilometres north of Abu Dhabi city. The field straddles the United Arab Emirates - Iran maritime boundary. The Iranian portion (known as Salman) was discovered in 1965 and its extension into Abu Dhabi was confirmed in 1969. The field is not unitised and has been developed completely independently.
